How to defragment the hard drive using Disk Defragmenter in Microsoft® Windows® 7?

1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, click System Tools, and click the Disk Defragmenter icon.
   NOTE: If prompted for an administrator password or a User Account Control prompt is displayed, type the appropriate password or click Yes.
2. In order to determine if the disks needs defragmenting, in the Disk Defragmenter window, click the Analyze disk button.
3. In the Disk Defragmenter window, to immediately begin defragmenting the hard drive, click the Defragment disk button.
4. Once the Defragmentation procedure is complete, click the Close button.
